I'm Dr. Rohit Aiyer, a double board-certified psychiatrist and the founder of Mind and Brain Link in Manhattan Beach. I work with adults across the South Bay on depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD and insomnia.
Mental health conditions are rarely simple. I review every case in depth — your history, what you've already tried, what didn't work — before recommending a treatment plan. My background is in psychopharmacology, with more than 45 peer-reviewed publications and contributions to international treatment guidelines, and I bring that research into how I prescribe. You'll always know the reasoning behind a recommendation.
I moved here from New York four years ago. What drew me in was the small-town feel inside a city this size — and, from a clinical standpoint, how genuinely collaborative the care is here between psychiatrists and therapists.

Medication Management
Dr. Aiyer provides medication treatments for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, and insomnia.
In Person Evaluations
Dr. Aiyer offers in person evaluations, as he is aware that many patients prefer to consult their Psychiatrist in person. All new and initial evaluations with Dr. Aiyer are required to be in person.
Telehealth
Dr. Aiyer offers telepsychiatry service that is convenient and accessible, using our HIPAA-compliant software. This service will be offered for follow-up visits on a case by case basis, and will be discussed with you after your initial in person evaluation.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! Mind and Brain Link is accepting new patients for adult psychiatry in our office, located at the Manhattan Medical Center: 1000 N Sepulveda Blvd, Suite 280, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
Are appointments in-person, virtual, or hybrid?
All new and initial evaluations must be in-person in our Manhattan Beach, CA office. Subsequent follow up appointments can take place either in-person or virtually via secure telehealth tools.
Do you accept my insurance?
We're intentionally out-of-network so that decisions about your care — how often we meet, how long visits run, which treatments make sense — are made between you and Dr. Aiyer based on what's clinically appropriate, not by an insurance company. This means more time for thorough evaluation and meaningful follow-up, and less time spent on administrative requirements. We do provide superbills to aid in reimbursement.
